Disability Modifications also work with Occupational
Therapists and their Clients to design Home
Modifications such as improved access into and
around the home, wheel-chair accessible kitchens and bathrooms, external
pathways, ramps and decks etc.
As well as the major modifications listed above, we also carry out minor modifications such as installing:
- grabrails
- handheld-showers with or without slide-rails
- fold down shower seats
- remove shower screens and install curtain rails
- replace taps with 1/4 turn ceramic lever taps
- upgrade the Bathroom light and power to ensure
that they are water-proof following the installation of the
handshower.
- timber bath seat over the bath
- small access ramps to doorway
- replace/relocate toilets to suit wheel-chairs
- fold-down grabrails next to toilets
